“Outward Bound” for the Inner Muse with Ellen Koronet
At any given moment, inside each of us, there are many feelings, thoughts, and forces in motion ~ sometimes at odds with one another, constantly striving towards some kind of balance. Although we have come to understand that divisive descriptions such as “right-brain thinking” and “left-brain thinking” are oversimplified and somewhat arbitrary, it is helpful to recognize the contrasts within the paradox. Seeing the juxtaposition can give just enough perspective to shift your focus, your thinking, and your actions. In this session, we will explore our Inner Muses and Mediators and find out how we can let THEM show US “the ropes.”
Ellen Koronet is Chief Fun Officer of LNK Creative, offering one-on-one coaching, creativity facilitation, focus groups and surveys. LNK Creative recently launched “Inner Muse Focus Groups,” a problem-solving, inspiration-magnetizing process for individuals and groups, conducted in person or on-line. Prior to becoming a guide for Right-brained experiences, Ms. Koronet spent many years in the corporate world. She has been married to her husband Dave for 24 years. Ellen and Dave live in Maryland with their two daughters, golden retriever (Yoshi) and white cat (Snowball of course).

Laughter and Other Monkey Business—Transformative Life and Business Practices with Heather Wandell
Participants will experience the embodiment of laughter through playful movements and are invited to notice the physical, emotional, and spiritual shifts that may occur through guided laughter exercises. Research has shown laughter strengthens the immune system, lowers blood pressure, and reduces pain. This healing therapy was started in India and now laughter clubs are spreading all over the United States. You will come to the world in a different way when you can add more laughter to your day. It is not based on joke telling. Heather is a Certified Laughter Leader through World Laughter Tour and the author of Monkey Business: 37 Better Business Practices Learned Through Monkeys. Come and learn some ways therapeutic laughter can transform physical and emotional ailments in your communities and learn other transformative life and business practices as Heather speaks about what she has learned through monkeys!
Heather Wandell is a speaker and workshop presenter on therapeutic laughter and has worked as a trainer with World Laughter Tour. She has trained with Pragito Dove, world renowned author and Master Meditator, in laughter meditation, another form of therapeutic laughter that replaces stress and stagnation with joy and possibility thinking. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore in 1985 and a Masters in the Applied Healing Arts from the Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, MD in June 2007. Heather is on the board of Frisky's Wildlife and Primate Sanctuary in Woodstock, MD and CEO of Another Way To See It, LLC. |

When I think of all I have to do does it zap my energy and make me feel bad about myself? Do I have difficulty prioritizing and handling the important things first? Is it challenging to take the first step to start a project? Do I yearn for more peace in My environment?
